Who can apply?

  • Unemployed youth who have not previously participated in the Yes4Youth initiative.
  • Aged between 18 and 29
  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Must reside close to the workplace area
  • Must not have a criminal record.
  • Must be able to start employment on 1 May 2025.
  • Highest Qualification to be Grade 12
  • Qualification aligned to the position would be an advantage.
  • Valid Drivers' License
  • Climbing, and lifting heavy equipment.
  • Communicates effectively, speaking English is preferred
  • Be able to plan and execute projects

Duration?

12-months

How much will you earn?

R5000 stipend monthly

Responsibilities:

  • Inspects the building, grounds, and equipment
  • Handles necessary repairs and maintenance
  • Installs equipment and appliances
  • Complies with all company safety regulations
  • Reports any issues to the maintenance manager
  • Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Follows written and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager
  • Reads and follows manuals and other written instructions.
  • Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electrical tools, and plumbing tools with care.
